Inauguration of Vice Mayor Quintanilla

On behalf of the village of Agat, we wish to congratulate our newly elected Vice Mayor Agustin G. Quintanilla. On January 03, 2011, Vice Mayor Agustin was sworn into office at 12 noon by Judge Arthur Barcinas at the Sagan Biseta.

A festive event borne witness by the many residences of Agat and dignitaries from around the island. Vice Mayor Agustin promised to do his very best for the people of Agat. Agustin's down to earth and straight forward approach to service was noticeable in his speech. As he recalled that he had preferred to go straight to work rather than to proceed with the formalities of being inaugurated. He also acknowledged his appreciation to the former governor for his appointment and to the people of Agat for their trust and confidence him.

Vice Mayor Agustin knows the daunting responsibilities of his position to work as a team player with Agat's Mayor Carol Tayama. Due to the unexpected passing of our former Vice Mayor during his tenure. He stood and learned quickly the duties and responsibilities.

He looks forward to serving as a public servant for his community and the community looks forward to his leadership serving with Mayor Tayama. A prosperous and blessed new year to the village of Agat.

We'd also like to acknowledge the representatives and dignataries for attending the event:
